Dorothy Howell

Dorothy Howell, was a resident of Gilbert, Arizona. She passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Brooklyn, New York on March 26, 1931, Dorothy was cherished by all who knew her, and is survived by her daughters, Deidre (Ken) Ulano and Deborah (Andrew) Feehan, her son Greg (Julie) Thurston, and her grandchildren, Edward Ulano and Austin Ulano. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas (Carol) O'Brien, and nephews, James (Jeanette) O'Brien and Ken O'Brien. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Howell, her daughter, Donna Thurston, her parents, Agnes and Thomas O'Brien, and her nephew, Thomas John O'Brien. She is also preceded by Ken O’Brien’s late wife, Rita.

Dorothy spent decades in the workforce predominantly in her position with AFCO, and retired as a Corporate Compliance Officer. In her personal life, Dorothy enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time at the beach, reading and watching Jeopardy. She found joy in laughing with friends, which brought warmth and happiness to those around her.
