Edward Charles Gee

102, of Sun Lakes AZ, died Monday, July 11, 2016. He was born July 17, 1913 in Auburn NY. Edward was a Sergeant in the Army during WW II and landed in France on D-Day+3. After the war he moved to Fairmont WV, where he attended Fairmount College. Edward was an Insurance agent, served as Director for Fairmont Housing, and worked part-time as the bookkeeper for Green Valley Country Club. He became a private pilot in his late fifties and flew for the Civil Air Patrol for a number of years.

His daughter, Elaine Shaw of Mansfield PA, preceded him in death in 2013. Ed is survived by his son, Retired Lt. Colonel Edward Gee of Torrance CA, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and seven great, great grandchildren. His family tree is listed below:
