

Evangelina Martinez, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6, 1942, in Robstown, Texas, where she began a life defined by love, devotion, and generosity of spirit.
Evangelina married twice, first to Richard Coyle and later to Rudy Martinez, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship. She lived for several years in Garden Grove, California, before moving to Sun Lakes, Arizona, where she resided at the time of her passing.
Evangelina’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her four children—Richard Jr, John, Evelina, and Linda—who will carry forward her strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren, Richard III, Victoria, and Myles, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.
Evangelina had an unsurpassed love for family, always putting their needs before her own and creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. Beyond her devotion to loved ones, she enjoyed traveling to new places, tending to her cherished yellow roses, and surprising many with her keen interest in keeping up with the latest technology.
Her life was a beautiful example of resilience, kindness, and the importance of staying connected—with both family and the world around her. Those who knew her will remember her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the joy she found in life’s simple and meaningful moments.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
