Evelyn (Evie) C. Pheatt (nee Bond) passed away at home in Mesa, AZ on December 25, 2013 with her loving husband, Burton, at her side. She was 84 years old. Evie was born March 29, 1929 in Maywood, IL to Albert and Grace (Woldman) Bond. Devoted mom to daughter Sharon Spindler of Carol Stream, IL, son and wife Randy and Julie Siegfort of Mesa, AZ and step-son and wife Chuck and Mel Pheatt of Mt. Prospect, IL. Loving grandmother to Leah, Ashley and Tanner. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Miriam Engelhardt of Coatesville, IN and her younger sister Joan Hamilton of Jupiter, FL.
Evie will always be remembered for her selfless devotion to family, friends and church. She never hesitated to volunteer and use her many talents to help others. Her loving and beautiful spirit will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
A Memorial gathering will be held on January 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2085 E Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282. Donations can be made In lieu of flowers to King of Glory Lutheran Church Ruud Memorial Fund in Evelyn's honor.
Interment will be private.
