Frances A. "Eve" Myers

Frances Arlene Myers, known to us as “Eve” passed away on Feb. 16, 2016 in Gilbert, AZ. Eve was born in Stickney, SD on April 13, 1926, to Ray and Inger Everson. She is survived by her 3 children, Douglas Lee Myers of Hastings, NE, Karen Marie (Robert) Cox of Gilbert, AZ., and Mark Alan (Joy) Myers of Grand Island, NE. Three grandchildren, Tera Michelle (Michael) Bruce, Brandie Lee (Jessie) McCoy and Christopher Alan (Brandie) Myers; by 6 great grandchildren, Easton and Merrick Bruce, Kennedy and Ellie McCoy and Olivia and Carter Myers. Eve lived and attended all of her school years in Blue Earth, MN. where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Alloys Myers. Upon graduating from high school she worked as a secretary for many years, starting out as secretary to Faribault County Clerk of the Court in Blue Earth, MN. and ended her career as administrative assistant to the Vice President of Tupperware International Headquarters in Kissimmee, FL. She retired and moved to San Antonio, TX. While in San Antonio, Eve was active in church work volunteering for many different jobs. She had many friends and filled her retirement years with reading, listening to music, traveling, but her passion was playing cards with her friends. Eve was very proud of her Norwegian heritage and often told of her mother coming to America when only 16 years old. Eve was proud of her beautiful and loving children. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 11, 2016, her mother and father, and one sister, Margie Williams. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Sat. Feb. 27, 2016 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler AZ.
