Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and belonged to the 1st Battle Group, 18th Infantry, participating in the 1961 standoff in Berlin, Germany.
He married Amelia Garcia Hernandez on December 19, 1957 in Phoenix. Frank had a long career as a truck driver in the steel industry, and worked for Heflin Steel Supply Company for 37 years and was a member of the American Legion.
Frank took great pleasure relaxing with his wife of 67 years, Amelia. Besides watching old western movies, he was dedicated to gardening, ensuring that his yard was always well manicured and if any maintenance was required, he quickly addressed it. He always made sure his tortoise, George was well cared for and has his own domain in the backyard, even today. Frank was a great pool player as well as a great poker player.
