Gail Alyn Lundell

Gail is survived by her husband Donald Russell Lundell also of Maricopa, AZ and her children Russell Lundell (LaRayne) of Gilbert, AZ, John Lundell (Andrea) of Dallas, TX, Suzanne Kensington (Tommy) of Maricopa, AZ, Victoria Brown (Michael) of Chandler, AZ, David Lundell (Laura) of Chandler, AZ and Robert Lundell (Alecia) of Queen Creek, AZ and her eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gail was born on January 28, 1943 in Rochester, MN to Alan and Phyllis Peters. Gail and her younger sister Vickie were very close in their growing up years and remained good friends always. Gail attended Arizona State University where she majored in Education. In 1962 she met Donald Lundell while he was serving an LDS mission in Minnesota. They married on June 1, 1963 in the Mesa, AZ Temple. After Donald completed his education at the University of Arizona they moved to San Jose, CA where they had 6 children. Don and Gail lived in the Bay Area for over 22 years.

Gail was very involved in her volunteer work at her church and her children’s schools. Gail was an accomplished pianist, singer, seamstress, and teacher. She wrote stories and beautiful poems and touched the hearts and lives of several people through her many acts of service. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
