George Hamilton went home to be with his Heavenly Father August 19th 2015, at 3:00 PM, surrounded by his children and loved ones. He passed away peacefully. George was born June 3, 1949 in Bellingham, Washington. His parents were Rosalie D. (Penry) and William S. Hamilton. George was raised in Bellingham, WA. All who had the pleasure of knowing George would agree, that he selflessly loved with all of his heart. He would go out of his way to bring peace and comfort to others. George's sense of humor and presence lit up a room. It has been said he is the only person that could expertly and lovingly poke fun at you without hurting your feelings. George had countless accomplishments in his life. He was a simple man with a heart after God and no desire greater than the happiness and well-being of his family. George found success in car sales, ministry, and real estate – always finding fulfillment in his God given task as a provider. He genuinely loved people and listening to their stories. He was proud to be a husband, son-in-law, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. George is survived by his 4 children and their spouses, Jeremiah Hamilton (Jessie), Jessica Vasquez (Pedro), Melodie Weber (Grant),and Michael Hamilton, and two grandsons Alexander and Anthony Vasquez. Six siblings, Jeanene Buss, Jim Hamilton, Ted Hamilton, Steve Hamilton, Len Hamilton, and John Hamilton.
