Gilbert D. Montaño

A Vietnam Veteran, Gilbert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf with his sons and watching and cheering on the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks.

He is survived by his wife of 55 remarkable years, Michele Sondra Montaño; his daughters, Candi L. Miranda (Tony) and Reneé L. Montaño; sons, Robert L. Montaño and Gilbert L. Montaño (Kari); grandchildren, Robert K. Montaño, Roman A. Montaño, Richard A. Montaño, Reid A. Montaño, Matthew G. Montaño, Noah A. Montaño, Marissa M. Miranda, Alexis M. Montaño, Reina R. Miranda, Samantha A. Montaño, Mikayla M. Miranda and Jaxon D. Montaño; great grandchildren, Jaedon N. Montaño, Jasper D. Montaño, Odyn M. Hepworth, Maddox O. Montaño, Atlas K. Montaño, Kora R. Montaño and Nazareth N. Montaño; his sisters, Mona Crespin and Inez Marrufo (Rudy); brothers, Oscar Montaño (Irma) and Tony Montaño; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Crespin, Serlinda Crespin, Gabriel Youngman, Dominque Montaño and Michael Crespin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation to be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a service and rosary to follow at 12:00 p.m.
