Hugo G. Panez

Hugo was the 3rd child out of 4 children. His oldest brother Lucio Panez, Sister Blanca B. Panez and little brother Mario Panez. Hugo was a Loving Husband to Maria Panez Age 54. Hugo and Maria grew up together since they were 5 years old in the same neighborhood and block. Since then their friendship blossomed and grow each morning and each night that came. Thirteen years later they got married on May 12, 1979. Within their 34 years of marriage, the Lord blessed them with six wonderful children. He was a proud father to Architect, Victor H. Panez, age 33; USMC SSGT Jose G. Panez, age 32; Medical Assistant, Jeannette Panez-Alcantar, age 30; Coach Argelia Panez-Perez, age 28; EMS, Camerina Panez - Alvadaro, age 24; Nurse, Lupe Panez, age 19.... Not only was he a great father, but also a GREAT GRAND FATHER. His loving grand children names are Mariah Garcia, 15; Isaiah Panez, 12; Victoria Panez, 8; Jose Panez Jr, 9; Eveyln Panez, 7; Elijah "Rocky" Alcantar, 1; Malchi Perez, 10; Zach Perez, 8; Kaiden Perez, 5; Heaven Perez, 1; Emree Alvadaro, 7mths;

Hugo was your "Go to Handy Man", that is what he was known for. His amazing personality, his funny jokes and strong character, is what everybody liked about him. He was an easy going man, very honest, a very very hard working and considerate man. Even though he was constantly working, he still found time to play with his kids and to nurture his wife with love and care. Hugo was a very good mechanic and carpenter, with his hands he was able to fix any type of machinery and was able to build you the most beautiful crafts, this is something that he was able to pass on to his two sons.

He was also a coach to his own kids and many other kids in basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, and football. A true fan of sports he was! Hugo loved his Cowboys!! He enlightens a dark room with just his presence, his attitude and persona was just a bonus. He also was a true prophet of God. Hugo was strongly committed to the Lord by teaching his family, friends and other people the word of the Lord.

We all should remember him by his smile, his crazy jokes, and the hard work he would do for others. In loving memory of Hugo G. Panez, a loving husband, father, grandpa and a true friend. He is home with our father in heaven, working hard and telling his jokes.

A Visitation will be held, Friday, October 25, 2013 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chapel, Chandler, Az. with another Visitation held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with Funeral Services to follow.
