

Jean Rosman Culver passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 90 in St. Luke’s Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. She was born to Frank Charles and Lillian (Pepper) Rosman on October 14, 1924 in Beloit, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Brodhead High School, Green County Teachers College and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She taught at Oakley School and the Brodhead Public Schools in Wisconsin until retiring in June 1989. On June 1, 1991, she married David Culver and they resided in Sun Lakes, Arizona since 1994, moving to the Renaissance in recent years. Jean was an avid golfer and golfed on many courses in this country and overseas. Travel was one of her many interests in life. She and David enjoyed many trips, especially visiting all our state capitols and taking cruises, including her 2007 dream cruise completely around the world. Jean is survived by her husband, David, Sun Lakes, daughter Kathleen (Glenn) Condon, Chattanooga, Tennessee, a daughter-in-law Annalee Duchow, Brodhead, Wisconsin and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a special niece and nephew, plus many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Frederick Karl Duchow, two brothers, Harold and Frank Rosman, and a sister Joan Rosman. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18th at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church at 9248 East Riggs Road in Sun Lakes, Arizona.
