Jerry O. Lane

Jerry Lane - born 8-21-1935, passed 6-27-2010. Jerry was born in Reading, Michigan and lived in several areas throughout the country, including the Florida Keys, before coming to Chandler, Arizona. He loved to fish, golf, and enjoy time with family and friends, always putting others' needs ahead of his own. Jerry lived his life to the fullest and leaves a lasting impression and impact on countless people.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Military Police. He graduated from Michigan State and joined State Farm Insurance in 1961 and retired as a Regional Vice President in 1994 after a very successful and rewarding 33 year career.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years, Johanna, his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Laura, his son and daughter-in-law Lance and Brooke, and his four grandchildren, Trevor, Tanner, Peyton and Danielle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Arch, and his parents.

Services will be held Thursday, July 1st at 1:30 PM at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 E. Riggs Rd., Sun Lakes, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Hospice of the Valley, 1982 E. Woodside Ct., Gilbert, AZ 85297 or to Sun Lakes United Methodist Church.
