JoAnne Eberle

JoAnne Tyler Eberle, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022. JoAnne was born, December 3, 1931 in Liberal, Missouri and grew up in Wichita, KS. She graduated from North High School in 1949. In 1953, JoAnne married Robert Gene Eberle. Together they shared 60 remarkable years of marriage until his passing in 2014. They are the proud parents of six children and in 1963 the family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. The family later moved to their final family home in Queen Creek, AZ.

JoAnne served in various career positions throughout her life, to include the Wichita Police force, Gilbert Elementary School and Chandler Stationers, but above all, her primary love was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her wonderful family. JoAnne worked diligently in the development of the town of Queen Creek, alongside her husband Robert, who is a Founding Father. She and Robert were also members of the Kiwanis Club for many years. JoAnne also enjoyed traveling, fine dining, caring for her beautiful home and garden, and hosting wonderful holiday and birthday gatherings for her beloved family.

JoAnne is survived by 5 children, Sharon, LuAnn, Robert (Marian) DeAnn (Alan), Susanne (Tom); 9 grandchildren, Lindsay (Nick), Aynsley, Brittany (Keith), Adam (Jen), Morgan (Chris), Jessica, Thomas (Debbie), Travis (Heather), and Tucker; 9 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jackson, Finley, Stella, Farrah, Braydon, Ryleigh, Ben and Rahbia; and her nieces, Gayle (Mike) and Gloria (Glenda).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Roxanne (Bob); sister, Billie Tyler Baird (survived by husband, Wilbur); and her brother-in-law, Ted Eberle (survived by wife, Jan).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. to be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A private interment will follow in Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
