Its been five years and it just doesn't get any easier for me. I know that you are in heaven, but I miss you something awful. Mom and I are very proud of all of the dear friends that you have. They just don't forget! Missing you, love, Dad.

Jonathan was my cousin but he felt like a big brother to me and sadly I barley every got to see him because of our distance from florida to arizona.. you were a good boy becoming a man and I could tell you were going to be successful. I'm always at a lost for words because I know that words will never do any justice to the thoughtful, kindhearted, genuine person Jon is. Till we meet again, I just want to say thank you for letting me be apart of your life. I can honestly say that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You became my best friend, the boy I love most, and once again, I just want to say thank for that. You always had a big heart and opening arms with a welcoming smile. You were always so willing to listen to me, your radiating self appreciation made me see value within myself, you held me together on the good days and the bad, and when people tell me that I have a good head on my shoulders, or that I'm wiser than my years, I just smile to myself because I learned all of that from you, and I can't thank you enough. I will always treasure the time we spent together whether it be bonding at our spot in the park, waking up next to you, our laughs and tears on the curb in front of my house, or simply our late nights at Coffee Rush. I guess what i'm trying to say is that there are people who don't get this lucky, get this loved, get to have something so genuine with someone so genuine, and I found all of that within you. I fell in love with the world within you, Jonathan, and it warms my heart up everyday. I am forever grateful for our little infinity. I love you always, but you know that.

Jon was my best friend. Jon is hands down one of the greatest men i have ever met in my life. So loving, patient kind and smart. Jon did every single thing with such meaning and with his whole heart. Jon was like my Little brother. He taught me so much and was admired by everyone Who knew him. Jon knew exactly how to turn my bad days back around and make me laugh. From concerts, to parties, to the late nights w/ our Work family. Jon was always the glue that held us together. He was the most dedicated, reliable, and free spirited person ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. He truly was my hero without a doubt. til this day I cry only tears of joy because I know Jon would be mad if I was sad. I get signs everyday knowing hes okay and with that im content. I did not know Jon all that well other than he was a nice person.  I was his math teacher at CGCC.  He taught me a lesson that I think applies to all of us.  His first test score was 70 and his second test score was 88.  That is a 26% improvement!  May we all learn to improve our lives every day.  Be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today.  Thank you for the lesson you taught me, Jon.

Jon is one of my sons best friends.  Many days he and others would fill my home with laughter.  I still see him there. His smile, his kindness.  Our family misses him terribly. I am Jon's education instructor at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.  We will all miss Jon very much.  On Thursday, he presented with his team of three other students on Technology in the Classroom.  My notes on Jon:  "Nice greeting!  Very GOOD class interaction throughout.  Fun ice-breaker! You delivered an engaging overview of the lesson." Jon seemed to be enjoying the whole experience.

My heart is so very sad for your loss and education's loss.  For whatever small solace it may bring you, on Jon's last day, he was a teacher!

I only got to see Jonathan during the Holidays, but he was always living his life to the fullest and I will deeply miss him. I will continue to keep and very one who feels his lose in my prayers. I pray Jonathan is smiling down on us from heaven.
