Joe worked for many years in the semi-conductor industry. This provided the experiences of traveling and living in many great locations such as; Barbados, Hong Kong, Scotland, Texas, and California before finally calling Arizona home.
A music enthusiast all his life, Joe worked his way through college as a drummer and often picked up his sticks to play with friends any chance he could. He loved his family dearly and insisted he get as much time with his grandsons as possible. He enjoyed helping to watch them both as infants and toddlers.
Joe enjoyed gardening and landscaping; traits that his oldest grandson Connor has adopted and enjoys as well. After retiring, Joe began volunteering at Andre House, a place to provide food and shelter to those less fortunate. Andre House became a big part of his life. He and Norma both became very involved and over time made many good friends with others who felt the calling to serve others.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and in honor of his life, we have set up a donation fund for Andre House, where all proceeds will go to help an organization he cared so much for.
