Joyce F. Blackledge

Joyce Blackledge passed away July 30, 2014 at the age of 87. Joyce was born in Mishawaka, IN to Glenn and Belle Fulp. Survived by Bill Blackledge, Husband of 67 years, Sister, Georgia Floren of IN, Daughter, Cinda Blackledge of AZ, Son, Larry Blackledge of WA, Daughter, Valerie Silva of HI, and their spouses, also 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Joyce and Bill attended U of A, Tucson where they met. Joyce's many endeavors were teaching English in schools in Calexico, CA, Tempe, AZ and Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ. Past President of Banner Desert Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary, assistant in the Chaplain's office and President of Imperial/Mexicali Cotton Wives Association. She will be missed my many family and friends from all of her travels. Services: Viewing on Monday August 4, 2014, 6-8 PM. Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM. All services held at Valley of the Sun Funeral Home, located at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd. Chandler, AZ. 85248. Presided by Chaplain Bob Barrett - Hospice of the Valley.
