Julia Ann Eggleston

Julia Ann Eggleston went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 74. Julie was born in Elkhart, Indiana on May 22, 1949 to the late James Calvin Connolly and Dorothy Angela (Parrot) Connolly.

She received her Associates Degree from Stephens College and pursued her career as an entrepreneur, running several small businesses, a motivational speaker and an organizational trainer. Julie held steadfast to her faith and was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Tempe. She was an active volunteer in various charities over the years mostly dealing with youth, including leading Sunday school and AWANA programs at churches in Indiana and Arizona. She was also a volunteer and mentor to ladies involved in the Miss Arizona and Miss America pageants. Julie enjoyed golf and most importantly, time spent with her family.

Julie is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Ralph Gordon Eggleston; her sons, Patrick Aaron Eggleston and Brian Paul Eggleston; her grandchildren, Stephen Andrew Martinez, Emilly Katherine Martinez, and Parker Addison Eggleston; and her brother, James Connolly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life service to be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with a brief gathering beginning at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
