Julie Ann Clausen

Julie Ann (Brownlee) Clausen, 51, passed away unexpectedly at home in her sleep, on Wednesday October 14, 2015. Julie was born on June 25, 1964 to Diana May Peterman and Roger Allan Brownlee in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Julie was beautiful and had a smile that lit up a room. She quickly put others at ease and could strike up a conversation in any setting. Julie was kind, giving, and loving, making all she came in contact with feel special, welcomed and loved. She gave of herself to the very end by being an Organ Donor, thus providing many others with a better life and future.

Julie’s greatest joy and accomplishment, was her family. She loved being a wife and mother to her three beautiful children, providing them a home where they were loved and nurtured. She was involved in all aspects of their lives, volunteering in their schools, supporting their extracurricular activities and knowing their friends and their families.

Julie will be deeply missed by her large extended family, her friends, co-workers and acquaintances. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Diana and Roger Brownlee. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Curt Clausen, her son Christopher, her daughters, Taylor and Haley, sisters, Susan (Joey) Darner, Debbie (Steve) Gray and brother, Robert Brownlee and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the evening at Valley of the Sun Mortuary located at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ.
