

Keith led a remarkable life filled with dedication and service to our country. Keith served honorably in the US Navy from 1976-1981, achieving the rank of Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator Second Class. He joined the US Navy Reserves from 1981-1986 and returned to active duty as an Aviation Officer from 1986-1996. After separation he rejoined the US Navy Reserves, retiring as a Commander in 2005. During his career he received numerous
awards and decorations for his exceptional contributions to our nation's defense. Keith was a dedicated patriot who served during the Cold War, Operation Desert Storm and the War on Terrorism. He was deeply respected by his fellow service members and will be remembered for his mastery of ASW, ASUW, EW, tactics and training of others.
Keith worked for BOEING Aerospace for 19 plus years, retiring in 2024.
Keith graduated from Central High School, 1975, St, Joseph, Missouri. He attended Arizona State University, Phoenix, AZ, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1985.
Keith is survived by his father Hubert Sharp and his spouse Zaneeta of Sun Lakes, AZ, brother Kenneth Sharp and spouse Doris, Aiken SC, sisters Karen Wiedner and spouse, Alan, Mesa AZ, and Kelly Sharp, Denton TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Joan DeMartine Sharp.
Keith was an avid hunter, specifically ducks and the occasional deer hunt, a fisherman and a foodie, especially if all he had to do was show up. He loved to travel and made it to 4 of the 7 continents, 32 countries and most of the United States. He enjoyed reading about historical military battles and could name many military themed movies.
