Kim Marie Mccafferty

Kim Marie McCafferty was granted her Angel Wings on June 7, 2019. She lived most of her life in California and finally Arizona. She raised a family of three, her daughter, Monique, and her two sons, Devin and Dustin. They were the light of her life. She was so proud of the amazing adults they have become.

Monique is a wonderful mom to Kim’s three beautiful grandchildren, Marlowe, Scarlet and Max. Kim would always say how Monique was the “best” mom ever!

Always so proud of Devin with his education and drive. His love, hugs and butterfly kisses was something Kim always mentioned when talking about her Devin.

Dustin is studying in New York to become a dentist. “My son is going to be a doctor. So proud!” She would say this over and over.

Marlowe, Scarlet and Max, her grandchildren were the “apple of her eye”. She was consumed with daily pictures and smiles of them.

Kim’s love for cooking and healthy eating was for most of her life. She could make something and out of nothing and it would be delicious! She did yoga and the gym daily to keep trim and fit.

She absolutely adored her puppies, Piper, Peanut and Penny. Her love for dogs led to her volunteer work at AAWL.

Kim is also survived by her father, Robert J. Gollhofer and her mother, Sandy Hughes, her closest confidant and best friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to one of her favorite organizations, Arizona Humane Society.
