Larry was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana the oldest son of Lloyd and Liz Rank. He studied at
Brown University and went into the banking business becoming the president of Provident Bank,
in Baltimore Maryland.
He loved Jesus, his family, and his country. Larry was an avid golfer and had an encyclopedic mind
for sports stats, especially baseball and football. All who knew Larry knew he was a great fan for the Baltimore Ravens.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, his daughter Karen (Jonathan) Gray; granddaughters, Kendall
(Zach) Roarer; Chapin Gray and sister Kathy and nieces and nephew in Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bette and son, Kevin Rank.
He was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on December 20,2021 at Mountain View
Lutheran Church, 11002 S 48tht St, Phoenix, Az 85044 for family and friends with refreshments
in the Family Life Center afterwards.
