Lester George Deming - age 84, passed away in Mesa, AZ on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Born in Alto, MI October 6, 1928, Lester was the son of the late Clyde Lee and Mary (Whitney) Deming. Upon completion of his high school studies, he joined the
U.S. Army which he proudly and faithfully served for 21 years working as a satellite communications supervisor. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Victoria, and by one son, Jeff.
Lester is survived by three children, Glenn, Scott and Cynthia (Mark) McKillip; three grandchildren, Amanda Deming and Andrew and Taylor McKillip; one great-grandchild, Landon Deming; and by his siblings, June Bryant and Carl Deming.
Memorial Services will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
