Linda Lee DeFurio

Linda Lee DeFurio, Age 75 of Maricopa, Arizona passed away on February 9th, 2023 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born in Waterville, Maine, Linda graduated from Danbury High School, Danbury, CT. Shortly after high school, she began her career in the airline industry with Mohawk Airlines in 1966. During her career, she lived in Upstate New York; Moon Township, PA; West Chester, PA, and Newnan, GA. She spent over 40 years in the airlines as a Flight Attendant, Inflight Supervisor, and Director of Inflight. Her career was a passion of hers and a place where she made lifelong friendships. Linda was a fun and loving person. She spent her retirement as a loving grandmother, enjoying many activities with her grandchildren. She was formerly married to Frank L. DeFurio, Jr. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Walter and Juliette Nightingale; and Sister, Gail Childs. Surviving are her son Anthony (Rachel) DeFurio, step-daughters Lori DeFurio and Sherri (Michael) Ellis; grandsons Conlan DeFurio and Zachary (Rachel) Winters; granddaughters, Lieta DeFurio and Emma Ellis; and brother William Maca. She will be buried at the family grave site in Waterville, Maine, with a cemetery service in June.
