Mark was my neighbor in Joliet.  He moved when he was about 4.  Mike and Mark would play with me by their picket fence.  When their sister Melinda was born or as they called her Bells they were several years older.  Mark had a ready smile and a keen sense of humor.  Mike and I used to tie him to the fence when we played cowboys and Indians.  the we would leave him.  He always forgave us.  I am sorry for your loss but I am grateful for the humor he brought into my life.   Sally Bowers Aldrich

Matty - I just heard of your dad's passing and am truly heartbroken at this news.  We haven't been in touch for a while, but I've thought of you both often over the past few years.  He was a very special person as you know and we have many great memories to look back on now. I knew Mark for what seems like forever..i was just a kid hanging out at my dads office alot...Mark worked for my dad Jim McConkey at Sterling Electronics...he was a great guy and a good friend to my dad...i was upset to hear Mark wasnt well and thats why he was unable to make it to my dads funeral last month...i am now very much saddened by the news of Marks passing...so many great memories of him on our fishing and ski trips...sorry to Matt and the family for your loss...i am sure our dads are hanging out having a few laughs and drinking a scotch together...God bless

Mark was not only a colleague, but a dear friend and confidant.  Whether  chatting about business or pleasure, his personality and vivaciousness for life was so infectious.  Every time I heard his voice, a smile emerged as I knew I had another opportunity to speak with my dear friend.

His passion for life and his love for his family is truly an inspiration to us all.  He will forever be in our hearts.

May God be with you all and bring you peace and healing during this difficult time.

Matt, although I am aware you know who your father was, I want to tell you that he is and will remain being a great human being who opened his arms to everyone at work and always tried to help his colleagues. I am blessed of having him as a friend and am sure he is now worshiping God Jesus Christ and I will ask him to pray for us when we meet so our God Father welcome us as well when we time comes. He could not stop expressing how much he loved you. May the peace of his love, and happiness always make you and your family a great family, just as amazing as he was.

To Mark's family:  I want you all to know just how special your Dad was to those of us who were fortunate enough to know him. Matt, We are so sorry to hear that your Dad has passed. I hope you can take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. Dear Matt, Vicki, Katy and family, I knew and worked with your dad at Jabil and I'll always remember his smile, great personality and willingness to share his knowledge of credit/guarantees and all things financial whenever I had a question (and I always had lots of questions).:)  He will be greatly missed here at Jabil.
