

Kris was born in Palo Alto, California at Stanford Hospital. During her time in California she met her husband, Scott Pruneau, when they were 20 years old. At the time, she was dancing for the Golden State Warriors while Scott was the equipment manager for the team. The two then married in 1990. After they got married, she danced for the San Francisco 49ers for three years. Following those three years they welcomed their first son Jordan Pruneau.17 months later, they welcomed their boy/girl twins, Justin and Taylor Pruneau.
She took pride in working for her father, Herbert Eaton, at Minton's Lumber and Supply while also teaching aerobics at Flex-It in Mountain View, CA. In 2009, Kris and Scott made the decision to move to Gilbert, Arizona where they have resided ever since. She loved being a stay at home mom to her three kids and three yellow labs, working out religiously, and pampering herself in the salon.
In 2021, She was promoted to “Mimi”, welcoming her first granddaughter Romee Barber. Shortly after, she was blessed with her second granddaughter, Goldie Barber. Kris is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Pruneau; her three children, Jordan Pruneau, Justin Pruneau and Taylor Barber; son-in-law, Justin Barber; granddaughters Romee and Goldie Barber; sisters Debby Loewen (KC) and Kim Black (Greg); nephews Nick Schulz (Alexa), Christopher Schulz, James Black (Laura) and niece Pamela Rouse (Phil); and great-niece Scarlett Schulz.
Her entire family will miss her dearly. Kris made such an enormous impact on all of their lives with her everlasting love, thoughtfulness and generosity.
