Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Lynette Janda of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on July 23, 2018. She is survived by four sons: Brian (Suzi), Paul, Eric (Brenda), and Mark (Lisa); fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a network of cherished family and dear friends.
Lynette was born to David “Amel” and Zelda (Reynolds) Shawcroft and raised in the rural community of La Jara, in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado. She earned her degree from Adams State College before moving away from her hometown, living in the Denver, California Bay Area, and Salt Lake City areas before retiring to Arizona. She was known for her love of animals, passion for sports, and musical ability. Lynette also enjoyed unique hobbies such as oil painting and yodeling. Throughout her life, she served in many capacities in her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Lynette will be interred at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona following a private ceremony.
