Mary Frances Sullivan Rasmussen - age 78, passed away peacefully at her home on November 5, 2010. She was born in Hope, Arkansas to John and Faye Sullivan. She moved to Arizona in 1945, graduated from Phoenix Union High School, and attended classes at ASU. Mary is survived by her husband, Ted Rasmussen; her five daughters, Karen, Cindy, Tina, Angie and Kim; her sister, Jane; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 13th, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Arizona Humane Society, 1521 W. Dobbins Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85041. Mary was an amazingly kind and witty woman, a wonderful wife and mother who will be greatly missed by all. Arrangements under the direction of Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, Chandler, AZ.
