

Nancy Gail Robinson, a creative, hard-working, and compassionate soul, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on September 3, 1934, in Parsons, Kansas, Nancy was the beloved daughter of Leland and Rowena Cesar. She spent her formative years in Winslow, Arizona, where she graduated from Winslow High School. Known for her popularity and creativity, Nancy was voted "Miss Merry Christmas" and participated in the annual Winslow Christmas Parade.
Nancy's entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate a gift store, Gifts By Nancy, in Tucson, Arizona, where she also owned a gifts manufacturing facility. Her personally designed creations included handbags, potholders, aprons, oven mitts, and Christmas decorations. She proudly showcased her business and products at various art shows such as the Tempe Festival of the Arts, Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts in Fountain Hills, Pinetop Fine Arts and Crafts, and Sun Lakes Fine Arts and Crafts festivals, all located in Arizona.
Nancy's family life was rich and full. She had one brother and two sisters: Annette, Jan Ellen, and Johnny. At the age of 18, Nancy married Guy Travis, and together they had four sons: Michael, Craig, Rick, and Wesley, with Wesley preceding her in passing. In 1990, Nancy married Bob Robinson in Phoenix, Arizona, and warmly welcomed Bob's children, Walter (Rob) and Nancy, into her life.
Her passion for arts and crafts, sewing, and embroidery was evident in her personal and professional life. Nancy and Bob cherished their summers in Pinetop, where they built a summer home and resided from 1997 to 2021. Nancy was actively involved in her community, serving as Vice President of the White Mountain Fine Arts and Crafts Organization, also in Pinetop, for five years.
Described by others as beautiful, inside and out, Nancy valued her family deeply and was known for her love of attending or hosting a good party. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and creativity. Nancy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
