Nancy Gibney Yuva

Nancy Gibney Yuva, age 77, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on May 20, 2025 in Gilbert, Arizona. Nancy was born in Cedar Rapids, lowa to John and Barbara Gibney. She was a graduate of Marion High School. On July 25, 1969, she was united in marriage to Gary Yuva in Marion, lowa. She received her B.S. in Child Development from Iowa State University in 1970. Nancy was a devoted teacher, working with children from preschool to junior high levels. She had several passions throughout her life, including reading, cross-stitching, needlepointing and furniture refinishing. Most of all she loved being with her children and grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband Gary of Chandler, Arizona, her 3 children John, Eric (Rebekha) and Beth (Matt), and her 8 grandchildren Morgan, Madisen, Macaelyn, Mia, Brandon, Aiden, Austin and Lily, all of Gilbert, Arizona. She is also survived by her sisters Cathy Davis of Sun Lakes, Arizona and Susan Churchill of Tucson, Arizona.
