Pat Guenther

On January 26th 2019, in Chandler Arizona in the comfort of her home and surrounded by loved ones, Pat was born again into eternal life.

Pat lived a beautiful life filled with family and passion. The oldest with two twin sisters, Pat was born into an Irish Catholic family. This October, Pat and her husband, Herman Guenther were coming upon their 60th wedding anniversary. Together, they raised 4 spirited children: Robert John, Michael, Amy, and Catherine.

They loved 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pat was a strong woman who brought joy and spice into the lives of everyone she knew. She was a healer, an artist, a golfer, and a mother. She never left a hat on the bed or a horseshoe upside down. She put mint jelly on her lamb chops and celery in her green salad desert. You could always count on her to tell you how she felt “straight-up” and then to hug and support you after.

She left this world to sit alongside her mother Elizabeth, father Robert, and two twin sisters Marilyn and Carolyn- at the foot of our Lord as she awaits the rest of her loved ones.

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” – 1st Corinthians 15:51-52
