Patricia A. Branin Vaughn

Of Sun Lakes, AZ was born January 10, 1936 in Millville, NJ. She passed away November 3, 2013 in Nassau, Bahamas. She met and married Robert E. Vaughn while he was stationed at McGuire AFB in New Jersey and they were married for 56 years. Together they ran the Vaughn movie theaters in both Hardin and Kampsville, IL. In 1968, they moved to Arizona with their five children. Patricia worked at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix for over 30 years until she retired. Patricia loved her family and reading her books.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Elwood Branin and Marjorie (Compton) Branin, of Maurictown, NJ, her husband Robert Earl Vaughn, and grandson Sean Carpenter. She is survived by her five children Robin L. Vaughn-Steele and husband Michael A. Steele, of Evergreen, CO, Robert E. Vaughn, Jr., Rochelle L. Vaughn, Rodney L. Vaughn, all of Phoenix, AZ and Ronna L. Vaughn-Johnson and husband Doug Johnson, of Casa Grande, AZ; grandchildren, Chris Vaughn, Robert Newman, Branin Newman, Cody Rusiski, Rodney Vaughn Jr., Kaylee Vaughn, Noah Carpenter and Chris Carpenter; and brother, Robert E. Branin, of Palm Coast, FL.

Cremation has taken place per her request. A Celebration of her life will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 16th.
