

Lam Lu Que, age 87, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born on May 30, 1927 in Xa Phu My Hung, Huyen Cu Chi, Tinh Gia Dinh, Vietnam. Que was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She was also a member of Buddhist Temples.
Que was a lifelong learner who read Vietnamese papers and magazines daily and for many decades. She enjoyed learning and discussing politics with her daughter Sara (Trang) every opportunity she had. Que loved animals, and feeding birds was one of her favorite pastimes. Connecting and conversing with loved ones in America, Vietnam, and in Canada was one of her happy times. She also enjoyed watching Vietnamese folk music videos and comedy skits. Que spoke Vietnamese, some English, and some French.
Que was survived by her daughters Kim Au, Nhi Lam, Trang Lam (Sara McLlenan); her son Hung Au; grandchildren Stasey Quach, Kristine Vu, Casey Quach; great-grandchildren Vicent Torre, Mia Torres; sister Lam Kim Huong; and brother Lam Van Bien. Que was preceded in death by son Au Tuan Cuong; father Lam Lu Lau; mother Vo Thi Muoi; and brother Lam Van Hoa.
A visitation for Que will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, Arizona 85248. A funeral service, followed by a graveside burial service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Valley of the Sun beginning at 9:00AM.
Monks will be officiating the services.
