Lord on January 31, 2012 with family and friends at his side. Married to Grace Mina George of Niagra Falls, NY who passed away on April 13, 2007; Ralph is survived by his sons Don and Russ(Liliane), daughter Nancy Meeks, grandchildren Doug Meeks and Aprol Meeks. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Queen Creek.
Ralph moved to Arizona with his wife Grace in 1946. He had an outstanding
and successful career with Sears for 33 years. His last position with the company was store manager in Globe, Arizona. Upon his retirement from Sears at the age of 60, Ralph started a career in real estate until his second retirement in 2009. He often said “if I knew real estate would be so darn much fun, I would have done it years ago".
Ralph started each morning driving his golf cart to McDonalds for his apple pie and cup of coffee. Everyone knew Ralph! He was an avid card player, favoring Pinochle and Euchre, and never missed his regular Tuesday and Thursday night games. Even at 90 years old Ralph continued his life-long passion for gardening and meticulously maintaining the landscape.
Ralph was a man with a strong moral compass who lived his life with integrity and always did the right thing. He believed strongly: “the harder you work, the luckier you get”.
Ralph lived for his family and was always supportive. Mentoring and
watching his family succeed, gave him great pride and joy. He will truly be missed.
