

Ray L. Jackson, 94, of 643 E. Racine Place in Casa Grande, passed away June 26, 2025. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 19, 1930. Ray graduated from Coolidge High School and received an associate’s degree from Central Arizona College. He was married to LaDois M. Jackson of Casa Grande, on February 23, 1951, in Coolidge Arizona.
Ray had a career with the Mountain Bell Phone Company for 32 years until his retirement at age 55. He has enjoyed retirement for 39 years with family and friends. During his life, he was an active member of the Rotary Club, different civic organizations, Boy Scouts of America (as a scout leader), and a coach and treasurer of the Casa Grande Little and Senior league associations.
Ray was active in Church membership for 32 years as Board member and treasurer for the Assembly of God Church in Casa Grande under two pastors: Ed Bradford and Jerry Rotan. His focus was to serve others as he served the Lord. Ray had a passion for the outdoors, camping and fishing, sail boating and vacationing in California and Oregon. He loved the beach. He served our country’s military for 3 years as a staff sergeant in the Army, stationed in Alaska during the Korean War.
Ray’s kindness, generosity and deep love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He believed in building lasting relationships but never met a stranger. He built memories with all that stood the test of time. Although he left this earth in the same quiet way he lived, his impact will be forever lived out loud through all those he loved and embraced. We love you dad, and you will be missed.
Ray is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Steven and Chrissy Jackson. He had 8 grandchildren. Wayne and Melayne Wooten, Brandon and Sherry Baker and Phil and Angie Fancher, Steven and Ruby Escarcega. He had 11 Great Grandchildren and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Amy Jackson, brother and sister-in-law Harold and Kathern Jackson, his daughter Cynthea R. Eacarcega and son-in-law Steven Escarcega. His wife of 60 years, LaDois and his second wife of 11 years Socorro Kulbeth.

Ray’s services will be held at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary on July 18th beginning at 9 am. 10940 E Chandler Height Road, Chandler, AZ. His burial will proceed at the conclusion of his celebration of life service.
