Born in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Regina lived a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. She carried her warmth and strength wherever she went, creating a home that was welcoming not only to her loved ones but to anyone who crossed her path. Her door was always open, her kitchen always full, and her heart always ready to embrace others.
Regina’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She is lovingly survived by her three children: Javier Morales and his wife, Connie; Isabel (Tocho) Morales and his wife, Cindy; and Nancy Tellez and her husband, Edward. She was a cherished grandmother to JJ, Michael, Joseph, Andrew, Christopher, and Anthony, and a proud great-grandmother to nine beautiful great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Lucy Leyva, and her brother, Horacio Leyva.
Regina devoted her life to her family, providing unconditional love and constant support. She created cherished traditions, shared stories, offered heartfelt prayers, and brought comfort in times of need. Her presence was a true blessing, and her legacy lives on in the strong family she built and the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing she is now resting in the presence of the Lord. Her love remains woven into the fabric of our lives, and her spirit will continue to guide and watch over us.
Regina will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
“Siempre vivirás en nuestros corazones. Te amamos por siempre, mamá.”
