Ruth Evelyn Morgan passed away on October 28, 2016. The fifth sibling of Ellis and Sylvia Berry, Ruth was born in Hedrick, Iowa on July 29, 1930. She was preceded in her death by her parents, sisters, Martha and Julia, brothers, Floyd, Ray and Ernie and husband, Raymond Morgan. She is survived by her three children, Jack, Peggy and Dixie; four grandchildren, Lisa, Tammy, Dominique and Alexander; and four great grandchildren Clayton, Mackenzie, Blake and Kael. Ruth grew up and attended high school in Hedrick, where she met Raymond Morgan in 1945 and on May 8, 1948 the two were married in Clinton, Iowa. In 1955 Ruth and Ray moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they raised their family. In addition to working for Maricopa County, Ruth was an avid reader and truly enjoyed volunteering at the local hospital. Her care, love, and devotion will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched. Services will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona.
