Resilient and brave, Sally was also kind-hearted, hard-working, thoughtful, humorous, generous, adventurous, honest, deeply cherished, and devoted—qualities that shaped her life and the many relationships she held close.
Born to James and Kathleen Mullet, Sally carried her Michigan roots with her throughout her life.
Sally relocated to Arizona in October 2002 and began her career at ON Semiconductor, serving as Associate Executive Administrator for the Chandler Design Center within the Automotive and Power Group. In June 2011, she was recruited into the role of New Product Planning Manager, where she stewarded the introduction of novel semiconductor components from design through production.
In October 2016, Sally joined ERP Power as its first Inside Sales Manager. She built the department from the ground up, ultimately leading a team of three Inside Sales professionals as the company grew dramatically into a top-three LED lighting component supplier in North America. Throughout her career in Arizona, Sally touched countless lives—many colleagues became lifelong friends. In every role, she fostered professional and supportive environments that allowed others to thrive and truly enjoy coming to work.
Sally faced lung cancer, leukemia, and squamous cell cancer with fierce determination and a spirit that refused to be crushed. Her strength, courage, and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.
An incredible artist with a remarkable eye for beauty, Sally had a natural gift for creativity. This talent shone brightly during Halloween—one of her favorite holidays—when her costumes appeared professional in their detail, creativity, and execution. She saw the world differently, noticing details others often missed, and expressed that vision through her art. Her artistic gifts were matched by her generous heart; Sally always put others before herself, consistently giving, caring, and supporting those around her.
She was a deeply loving sister whose family meant everything to her. Michigan’s Upper Peninsula was her happy place, and she always made time to visit. She especially treasured time spent at the family cottage in Manistique, where she found peace, comfort, and joy surrounded by those she loved.
Sally is lovingly remembered by her sister, Pam (Hamdi) Alaaldin, and her niece Mina and nephew Alan; her brother, Brad (Lisa) Mullet, and her niece Garnet and nephew Harper; her uncle George Graeber; her uncle Gregg Kiel and aunt Molly Kiel; and her cousins Pat (Kate) Heins, Alex (Lindsey) Kiel, and Bryan (Alexandra) Kiel. She leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her warmth, creativity, and unwavering spirit.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Mabel Kiel and Edward and Marion Mullet; her aunt Sue Graeber; Aunt Phyllis; Aunt Donna; Uncle Ned; and Uncle Nick.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider donating blood in Sally’s honor, giving the gift of life to others as she fought so courageously herself.
A special thank you to Dr. Kalmadi and the entire oncology staff for the compassionate care and support they provided Sally throughout her treatment.
