Sandra Gail Kammerer Ruiz, 75, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on November 22, 2013. She was born on May 31, 1938 to Edwin and Ann Kammerer of Lodi, CA. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1956 and worked in Social Services for San Joaquin County, California, for 25 years, until she retired in 1990. She is survived by her husband, Leo Ruiz, her daughter Trude Wells, and her son David Ferreira, Jr., all of Phoenix. She is also survived by three brothers, Carlton Kammerer of Maryland, Walter Smith, Jr., of Idaho, and Ralph Smith of California and nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held Friday November 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening at The Valley of The Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona.
