

Stanley Miarka, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Stan was born in Flint, Michigan on June 23, 1938. Four years later, his brother, Ron joined the family. Stan proudly served in the US Army from 1956 – 1959. He was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. During these years, he learned his trade as a meat inspector and butcher. Stan married and started a family in Cleveland, Ohio. He owned his own meat market in Cleveland.
Stan and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978. His career started in Phoenix in food service and was well-known among the Valley’s restauranteurs as a trusted supplier of meat and food products.
32 years ago, Stan and Carol met, fell in love and were married November 29, 1991. They started their life together in Ahwatukee, AZ. After retirement, they traveled the world with their shared passion of cruising. In 2023, they moved to their new home at the Village.
Stan has many interests including, all genres from Oil Painting, bringing to life Plaster figures of interest to him. A long-time music lover, he could pick out the different instruments by sound. He was a very imaginative Chef and his love of cooking and eating hever ended. He loved teaching his Grandchildren and great Grandchildren to paint and they all saved the pictures they created with their Jaja.
He is so very loved and will be greatly missed by his family and a multitude of friends. He would entertain them with some long-ago stories and some from his imagination. Stan was always fun and interesting to young and old alike.
He is survived by his Wife, Carol; his Children, Sharisse (Jedd) Hebrink, Matthew Miarka, and Michael Miarka; five Grandchildren; three Great Grandsons; one Step Grandson; Sister-in-Law, Pat Miarka; two Nephews; one Niece; two Grand Nieces and one Grand Nephew.
Stan is preceded in death by his Parents, Step-Father; Brother; two baby Sons; one Step Daughter, and one Step Son.
