Thomas Eugene Dang

Thomas Eugene Dang, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and sibling, passed away on May 17, 2023, in Chandler, AZ, at the age of 70. He was born on January 13, 1953, in Honolulu, HI, to Damien and Elsie Dang, both of whom preceded him in death. Thomas was also predeceased by his siblings, Carol-Jo and Michael.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lynn, their daughters, Jessi and Susan (Jordan), and grandchildren, Lucy, Ruby, and Jonah. Thomas will also be missed by his siblings: Frederick (Jeannie), Vincent (Betty), Mary, and Phillip (Robyn).

Thomas received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Hawaii and went on to have a fulfilling career in law enforcement and public service. He served with honor and dedication in the Honolulu Police Department, Anchorage Police Department, Alaska Adult Probation/Parole, Maricopa County as a juvenile detention officer and later as an Adult probation officer, and in Arizona as a Child Safety Investigator and Adult Protective Services officer.

Outside of his work, Thomas cherished his time with family and friends. He enjoyed road trips to Las Vegas and found great joy taking walks with his grandpup, Cider and connecting with neighbors.
