

Thomas Anton Jacobsen, born on August 17, 1956, in Glendive, Montana, passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 69. A resident of Chandler, Arizona, Thomas was a beloved and cherished individual who touched the lives of many.
Thomas earned a Master's Degree, which laid the foundation for a fulfilling career. He worked as a teacher and spent over 15 years teaching in South Korea, a country whose people and culture he deeply loved. Thomas also dedicated a decade of his life working for Burlington Northern Railroad and served as a caregiver to his parents in Chandler, Arizona.
Though he never married, Thomas was surrounded by a loving family, including his mother Joan Jacobsen; his father Cliff Jacobsen; and his brothers Dennis Jacobsen (Donna) of Sheridan, WY and Gary (Janet) of Chandler, AZ. He was predeceased by his brother, Larry Jacobsen. Thomas was a cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas had a passion for travel and made annual trips to Vietnam, where he would rendezvous with fellow expats for a winter getaway. His life was enriched by these experiences and the connections he made.
The family extends special thanks to the staff and doctors at Chandler Regional Hospital for their care and support.
Thomas Anton Jacobsen will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love for teaching, and his appreciation for the culture and people of South Korea.
