Valerie Margeurite Seeger, age 90, passed away on December 10, 2025 surrounded by her children Deborah Seeger, John Seeger and Julia Thomas. She was born in California where she met her husband John Seeger at Pomona College. They started a family and moved overseas, living in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Valerie's artistic impulses found outlets in creating hand drawn cards for holidays and family occasions along with collecting mementos from her journeys, including beads, jewelry, and antiques. The family lived for many years in Flagstaff, Arizona and she spent several summers in Egypt assisting John with archaeological digs. She and John eventually retired to Chandler, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her daughter Denise Seeger and Husband, John Seeger. She is survived by her children Deborah Seeger, John Seeger (Jennifer), and Julia Thomas (Ross) and grandchildren Mikayla, Jaden and Jaxon Thomas as well as Arian and Audrey Seeger.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
