

Throughout his life, Vasilios had a diverse career, beginning as a secretary in the Greek Army, followed by work as a house painter, and eventually becoming a restaurant owner. He was deeply involved in his community, particularly with St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church.
Vasilios is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years, Thomais Apergis. He is survived by his sisters, Yoanna, and Marina, his brothers Spiro, Manoli and predeceased by sister Vasso and brothers Aleco & George. His nieces, Cathy Langan (Apergis) in Arizona, Cathy Apergis in New York, and nephews Michael Apergis, Fillip Apergis, and Mike Apergis also survive him as well as grand-nieces and nephews. Thomias(Thea Themis) would also like to thank Cathy Langan and Melissa Apergis for all the care given to Theo Bill these last few months.
In his personal life, Vasilios had a passion for soccer, enjoying both Greek soccer and the English Premier League. He also loved visiting the casino.
A funeral service will be held on December 9, 2025, at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, located at 2716 N Dobson Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. This will be followed by a committal service at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
