William Duane Walker

William Duane Walker, age 81 formally of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at his home in Gilbert, Arizona on April 15, 2017. Duane was born November 23, 1935 in Middletown, Ohio. Duane graduated from Lemon Monroe High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Duane was married to Brenda L. Walker (Lakes) for 27 years before she proceeded him in death. Duane was active in protestant churches. He was a member of a gospel quartet and spent his time watching sports but loved football. Duane retired from Don S. Cisle Contractors Inc. in 2000 and moved to Arizona to be close to his family. Duane is survived by his children Tim Walker and his wife Amy Walker (Weaver); Kimberly Williams (Weaver) and her husband Brent Williams; and Jennifer Morton (Walker) and her husband Bryan Morton; 6 grandchildren William “Will” Walker, Emma Williams, Ian Morton, Andrea Jones (Morton), Matthew Morton and Jason Morton; 2 brothers Richard Walker, John Walker and 1 sister Velma Greer. Duane was proceeded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Duane will be laid to rest at Valley of the Sun Mausoleum, Chandler, Arizona.
