Yoel Chavez Rodriguez

Gilbert, Arizona - On July 16, 2023, the world lost a cherished soul as Yoel C. Rodriguez peacefully departed this life at the age of 72. Born on July 2, 1951, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Yoel's journey was one filled with love, passion, and an unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and the things he held dear.

Yoel's dedication to his profession was evident in his role as a driver for UPS, where he served faithfully for many years. Beyond his work, Yoel had a deep love for cars and could often be found tinkering with engines, mastering the art of mechanics. He found joy in bringing life back to old vehicles and took pride in his craftsmanship. Alongside his passion for cars, Yoel relished the freedom of the open road, riding his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The thrill of the ride was not merely about the destination; it was an expression of his adventurous spirit and love for the wind in his hair.

Yet, perhaps what brought Yoel the most happiness was his pack of dogs. To him, they were more than just pets; they were loyal companions and an integral part of his family. The unconditional love he shared with them was reciprocated, providing him with comfort and joy during every stage of life.

Yoel leaves behind a trail of memories cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his mother, Socorro Rodriguez; his son, Tomas Rodriguez; as well as grandchildren, sisters, a brother, and many nieces and nephews.. Each of them holds memories of his love, guidance, and support that will forever remain in their hearts.

A memorial service to honor Yoel's life will be held on August 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona. Family and friends will gather to share stories, reminisce, and find comfort in each other's presence.
