

Ann Margaret Sullivan Roberge, 79, of Chapin, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Ann was born and raised in Somerville and Milton, Massachusetts. She attended Salem State Teachers College in Salem, MA. She married Theodore Donald Roberge (Don) and moved to California, then to Alabama, then returned to Massachusetts with their two children. They later moved to Syracuse, NY until retiring to Chapin, SC in late 2005. Ann was a devoted wife and mother. She worked her way through the Syracuse school systems and retired from Onondaga Community College.
She was predeceased by her husband Don (2006), father John Sullivan, mother Helen Quirk Sullivan, her sister Noreen Sullivan Illingworth, brother-in-law Charles Illingworth, brother-in-law Richard Larkin, Nieces Anika Cederlund and Julie Sullivan, and nephews Charles Larkin and Fred Illingworth.
Ann made many friends over the years; she had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor. In 2008 she found a new source of fun, Shag Dancing, where she met not only many new friends but a loving partner William Danielson, Captain (Ret) Columbia Fire Department. They spent 6 years together until his passing in 2014. They enjoyed dancing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with their friends.
She is survived by her children, Mike Roberge of Irmo, SC, and Colleen Roberge O’Callaghan of Enfield, CT, her son in law Jeremiah O’Callaghan and her beloved grandson, Matthew O’Callaghan. She is also survived by her sister Eileen Sullivan Larkin, her brothers and their wives John and Ann Sullivan, Joseph and Mary Sullivan, James and Jarmila Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews.
Her laughter and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chapin, SC.
