Don was a hard worker and dedicated family man. Don graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in business and met his wife, Treva, who also graduated from there. He spent his career in college book retail and business services. Over the years, Don worked for Wichita State, Kansas State, the University of South Carolina, and Wallace Book Company and eventually retired from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi.
Don’s hobbies included camping, gardening, woodworking and making glass beads for his wife to turn into jewelry. He was a member of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church.
Don is survived by his wife, Treva; sister, Ilene Bomhoff; brother, Stephen Miles (Sherry); daughter, Stacy Inabinett (Edward); son, Vince Miles (Heather) and granddaughters, Lily Inabinett, Jenna Inabinett, Alina Ruff and Anna Ruff.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at The Columbia Presbyterian Community, 700 DaVega Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
