Monroe worked for Overnite Transportation 19 years, running the Winnsboro area and loved every minute of his driving time.
Surviving are his wife of 70+ years, Pamelia Wessinger Meetze; daughters, Gladys Boland, Sarah Whetstone and Judy Derrick; granddaughters, Jennifer Estes (Merrick), Jessica Parise (Brandon), Krystin Williams (Jason); eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and fur baby, Piper.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
