CHAPIN - Frederick Thomas Leland, 65, was born December 3, 1951 in Worcester, MA to the late Bernard Leland and Henrietta Halloran Leland and passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017. He was a devoted husband, father and especially grandfather “Papa”. He loved to golf and played 2-3 times a week as a Member of Timberlake Country Club.
Mr. Leland is survived by his beloved wife of almost 47 years, Jayne L. Leland of Chapin, SC; son, Frederick T. Leland, Jr. of San Diego, CA; brother, Joseph Leland of Lancaster, MA; sisters, Bernadette Bennett of Vancouver, BC and Henrietta McElheny of Avon, CT; granddaughter, Rylee Leland; grandson, Logan Leland both of San Diego, CA. and several nieces and nephews.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
