CHAPIN- A Memorial service for Helen P. Frederick, 78, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Avenue in Chapin, SC. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Chapin Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Frederick passed away on September 18, 2013. Born in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Louise Palmer. Surviving are her husband, George W. Frederick; sisters, Ruth Roberts and Jeanne Hakansan; children, Diane Jones, Karl Frederick, Paul Frederick, Dave Frederick, and Jeanne Chesky. Mrs. Frederick was very proud of her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill Palmer.
One of Mrs. Frederick’s favorite past times was cooking for others and raising her family. She and her husband George were happily married for 60 wonderful years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
